Dystopia plays its own vision of black metal: dark, intense, melancholic and aggressive.
Dystopia sets itself apart by their use of brass instruments, three guitars, and by incorporating doom, psychedelica and death metal into their sound. Live shows are minimalistic and have an almost ritualistic intensity to them.

I joined Dystopia as a member in the spring of 2016, while their full length ‘Chaos Philosophorum’ was almost finished. My role within the band is kind of like a keyboard player. layering sounds and soundscapes on top of the already heavy riffs. Only difference between a keyboard player and me is the use of a keyboard. Every part I play for Dystopia, either live and in the studio, is played on trumpet, trombone and guitars.
